Pheedo has several methods for inserting ads into feeds, and each has its pros and cons when compared to each other.

Item Frequency-based ad delivery ensures that an ad is placed every n items, and that the ad will appear in the same item for every user.

Ratio-based ad delivery uses a calculation to place ads in n percentage of item/ad view requests.  There is no assurance that ads will appear in the same item for every user, or every refresh of the feed.
